For Students

Applications Open April 15th!

For Businesses

The Greater Waco Chamber Workforce and Talent team will recruit and screen student candidates, assist employers as needed in developing internship job descriptions aligned to CTE pathways, and support employer–student matching. The Chamber will coordinate program logistics, facilitate student orientation, conduct employer site visits, serve as a liaison between employers and students, and host an end-of-summer recognition event.

Participating employers develop an internship role aligned to an approved CTE pathway, define their role with student compensation, and designate a supervisor to provide mentorship and oversight. Employers provide meaningful work-based learning experiences, offer regular feedback, and complete brief midpoint and end-of-program evaluations to support continuous program improvement.

Program Structure
The program is an eight-week, employer-hosted summer internship aligned to industry workforce needs. Internship schedules and project scopes are flexible and determined collaboratively by the employer and Chamber team
