The Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce has named Jacob Hogan as its new Director of Public Policy & Chamber Foundation. Hogan’s degree in political science and previous experience as a Field Representative for former U.S. Representative Bill Flores and Congressional Intern for U.S. Representative John Culberson gave Hogan an edge over other applicants for the position.
“We are pleased to welcome Jacob to our robust professional team and look forward to what promises to be a valuable contribution to our on-going public policy work,” said Waco Chamber President and CEO, Matt Meadors. “Jacob served on our Business Retention & Expansion Committee and several members of our team had the opportunity to interact with him and speak highly of his professional abilities. We are excited to continue our vigorous public policy efforts in the new year with him leading the way,” Meadors added.
Hogan most recently held the role of Program Manager at Baylor University’s John F. Baugh Center for Entrepreneurship & Free Enterprise and will formally begin his new role with the Waco Chamber on January 3, 2022.
