State Of Series

State Of Series

The State Of Series is a series of annual events hosted by the Greater Waco Chamber's Public Policy team. These events are designed to engage elected officials from the city, county, state and federal levels and inform our membership and community about a variety of topics, including current political happenings, current affairs affecting public education in Texas, and issues that impact our business community.

Each year, we invite community leaders, like the McLennan County Judge and City of Waco Mayor to give updates on area developments, legislative needs, challenges and an overall view of Waco and McLennan County will be presented.

This event is open to the Chamber membership and community.

Our annual State of the State luncheon features state representatives to give an update. Typically, they discuss key outcomes of the last legislative session and the economic and demographic trends that will impact our state moving forward.

This event is open to the Chamber membership and community.

Join us to hear from representatives from a national level. Each year we invite speakers to discuss what is happening in Washington and how that will impact our state and city.

This event is open to the Chamber membership and community.

State of the Arts & Culture is a new event that will explore the Greater Waco region's arts and culture economy, aiming to showcase the economic and quality of life impacts of the local arts community. The event will delve into the crucial role of arts and culture, emphasizing their contributions to enhancing the quality of life, attracting and retaining businesses, and fostering an environment that appeals to talented individuals and innovators.
