This year's Mid-Year Membership Luncheon will feature a panel discussion with leaders from some of Greater Waco's most impactful employers. Panelists will share perspectives on growth, workforce development, innovation, and the opportunities shaping the future of our region.

Anton Vincent, President, Mars Snacking North America

Anton Vincent serves as President, Mars Wrigley North America & Global Ice Cream. Since joining Mars in 2019, Anton has successfully led the acceleration of value creation of one of the world’s largest, most iconic consumer brand portfolios. He leads the cross-segment Regional Presidents Council (RPC) and is the principal Mars leadership voice for industry and regulatory matters in the US.

Prior to joining Mars, Anton was the CEO of Greencore, PLC, USA, a leading co-pack and co-man company. He spent 20 years at General Mills building award winning brands and leading three divisions to record financial performance, helped execute the $10B acquisition of the Pillsbury Company and served on the board of 301 Inc., General Mills’ early-stage venture fund. Anton is a boundaryless global leader who is focused on transformational change, developing breakthrough leaders and leading at the speed of tomorrow.

A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Anton holds a BBA in Finance from Sam Houston State University and an MBA in Marketing from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he currently serves on the Dean’s Council. Anton is active in industry leadership, serving on the National Confectioners Association (NCA) board and the Sustainable Food Policy Alliance (SFPA) Leadership Council. He is also an independent board director for International Paper (IP:NYSE), a $22B Fortune 100 company and the global leader in fiber-based packaging and pulp with operations in 180 countries.

Alvaro Covarrubia Alvarez, Asset Management & Property Development, JCSA Holdings, Inc/Electrolit Manufacturing USA

Alvaro Covarrubias Alvarez is a business executive and project leader specializing in industrial development, real estate, manufacturing operations, and corporate asset management. Based in Houston, Texas, he currently leads strategic asset and development initiatives for JCSA Holdings and affiliated companies, including Electrolit, within Grupo PiSA, one of the largest pharmaceutical and consumer health organizations in Latin America. Alvarez most recently has served as the project lead for Electrolit Manufacturing USA and its first US production plant located in Waco, Texas.

Scott Lelling, EVP of Marketing, Polyglass USA

Scott Lelling is Executive Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Polyglass USA, part of the Mapei Group. As a member of the Executive Lead Team, he leads marketing and market strategy as well as supports the growth initiatives that drive long-term value for customers, partners, and the business.

After beginning his career in finance and earning an MBA from New York University, Scott transitioned into the building materials industry in 1988, starting in distribution before moving into manufacturing in 1990.

He joined Polyglass USA in 2009 following its acquisition by the Mapei Group, initially serving as Product and Marketing Manager. Since that time, Scott has played a key leadership role in the company’s expansion—helping drive more than 600% growth, the addition of three manufacturing facilities, and the start-up of six new production lines.

Today, Scott focuses on aligning market strategy with operational execution, supporting innovation, customer training, and strong relationships that fuel sustainable growth. His work has helped position Polyglass as a leader in the roofing and waterproofing industry and has contributed to the company’s continued investment in communities like Waco.
