The Waco Chamber recognizes that a well-coordinated effort on behalf of all downtown stakeholders is essential to our success and the continued renaissance of the downtown Waco area. To ensure effective coordination of this effort the Chamber’s 1000 Friends of Waco hosts monthly round-table discussions for all interested parties to come together, discuss and celebrate the continued coordinated revitalization effort. The monthly series includes updates from various stakeholders working in the greater downtown area, including the City of Waco, the Public Improvement District, the City Center Waco and the Waco Chamber’s economic development team, among others.
1,000 Friends of Waco is a monthly event held on the third Wednesday of every month at 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Locations vary, so be sure to check our Calendar of Events for more information.
This event is open to the public and registration is not required; however, RSVPs are appreciated.
