Freedom Ball
2026 Freedom Ball | Saturday, June 13 | BASE at Extraco Events Center | 6 p.m.
The Greater Waco Aerospace Alliance established the Freedom Ball to be a patriotically themed gala that recognizes active-duty military, veterans and Gold Star Spouses for their service and sacrifice to our nation. It is the only event of its kind in the Heart of Texas area and is very well received by the military community. This is an opportunity for the public to say thank you to those who put their lives on the line to protect our nation at home and abroad. Proceeds of the event benefit the Greater Waco Aerospace Alliance Scholarship Fund, providing scholarships to McLennan County high school and college students pursuing aviation/aerospace and engineering careers and support target industry marketing of Greater Waco’s aerospace industry.

This year, Freedom Ball is introducing exciting new interactive elements designed to create a more engaging and memorable evening for our guests.
Branches of Military Raffle Experience
Replacing the traditional silent auction, guests will participate in a meaningful raffle honoring each branch of the U.S. military. Six flags will be displayed, each representing a different branch and featuring a unique gift category such as men’s, women’s, boys’, girls’, or family items. Guests place their raffle tickets at the flag of their choice for the opportunity to win everything at that flag.
*Raffle tickets $5 each, must be present to win!
Poker Chip Draw
In place of the traditional wine pull, guests will enjoy the Poker Chip Draw. Participants select a branded poker chip for the chance to win one of four curated luxury items, adding excitement, anticipation, and a memorable moment to the evening.
These enhancements create a more engaging, impactful, and unforgettable Freedom Ball experience.

Every chip is numbered from 1 to 99, and the number you draw determines the price you pay. For example: If you draw poker chip #11, you will pay $11. Draw #83? Pay $83.
