About the Program
Leadership Waco is a premier program that equips current and emerging leaders with the knowledge, connections, and skills needed to make a lasting impact on the Greater Waco community. Over the course of ten months, participants gain firsthand insight into the industries and institutions that drive Waco’s success—such as aviation, tourism, education, healthcare, manufacturing, and local government.
Through immersive experiences, in-depth discussions, and hands-on learning, participants develop the tools to lead with confidence and contribute to Waco’s continued growth. Each year, a limited number of applicants are selected to join this prestigious program, ensuring a diverse and dynamic class of professionals dedicated to shaping the future of Waco.
Alumni Group:
Many participants are grateful for the opportunity to be involved with Leadership Waco, and the connections made often last long after the program ends. Alumni continue to benefit from their experiences and remain friends, further contributing to the strength and growth of the Waco community.
Applications
In March of each year, applications open for current and emerging leaders to participate in the Leadership Waco program.
Greater Waco Chamber volunteers representing diverse sectors of the community will review completed applications. Volunteers will score applications anonymously and the top applicants will have final approval by the Chamber's Executive Committee before being accepted.
Applications are currently closed. They will reopen March 1, 2026.
