Committees & Programs
The Greater Waco Chamber provides professional development, education and networking opportunities for our members throughout the year. These events range in focus, including monthly membership meetings, industry-focused meetings, athletic events and more. Networking platforms are also vital to business growth; we provide a number of ways to allow members to connect with their peers within the business community. Visit our Calendar of Events for more information on upcoming Chamber events. You will also find a list below of different networking events each month.
New Member Luncheon
Complementary lunch the first Tuesday of every month at the Chamber building to provide an opportunity for new members to learn about Chamber programs, benefits of membership, involvement opportunities, meet the staff and network with other new members. Reservation needed.
Join us the first Thursday of every month at Diamond Back’s restaurant to meet area professionals for engaging lunch-time networking. Anywhere from 50 to 65 people usually attend this event, so don’t forget your business cards!
Business After Hours
These are a great way to meet and connect with fellow members and non-members alike. There are approximately 200 to 300 people in attendance at each one of these networking mixers. These casual, friendly and free networking events feature great food and drink and display the incredible variety and quality of our members’ businesses. All members are invited to connect with other members, develop new leads and contacts, and just have fun. New members are welcomed at every event and given the chance to introduce themselves and their business.
Small Business Luncheons
Features presentations from local business leaders who address important issues related to small business success. These programs also provide time for networking with other business executives.
The Annual Meeting is the Chamber’s largest and most anticipated event of the year, attracting more than 600 business owners and decision makers, community and civic leaders, and the regional news media. The Annual Meeting features a distinguished keynote speaker, the accomplishments of the Chamber during the previous year, and the passing of the gavel from the outgoing chair to incoming chair.
